October 8, 1955 Lehighton rallies from a halftime deficit to upset previously undefeated East Stroudsburg, 14-6. The Indians, coached by Charles Gernerd, get on the board in the third quarter when Jake Jacoby's 34-yard pass to Tom Shupp sets up a two-yard touchdown run by Neil Gilbert. Ron Moyer kicks the extra point to give Lehighton the lead. The winners add insurance in the final frame when Carl "Skippy" Koons also scores on a two-yard run.
