Blazing foliage

Fall colors are vibrant this year, as evidenced by this photo taken near Lake Hauto of a Lehigh Gorge Scenic Railway passenger train passing en route to Jim Thorpe from an excursion to the Hometown High Bridge in Schuylkill County. The flaming foliage is expected to last at least another week or two. The special two-hour train rides from Jim Thorpe will continue the next two weekends so visitors could witness the beauty of the fall foliage.
