Incident at soccer field is probed

An incident at a Schuylkill County soccer facility is being probed.

State police at Schuylkill Haven said the concession stand at the Shadle soccer fields along Airport Rd., in Barry Townshihp, was entered sometime between 3:30 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 10, and 8:30 a.m. on Sunday.

A window on the stand was forced open to gain entry. Removed was various types of candy and several drawers were rummaged through by the criminals. The stand and area is the property at the North Schuylkill Youth Soccer Association.
