Schuylkill driver facing DUI count

A Schuylkill County driver is facing a charge of driving under the influence (DUI).

State police at Schuylkill Haven said Gerald Williams, 30, of Cumbola, was stopped about 12:35 a.m. on Thursday, Oct. 15, in the 100 block of W. Bacon St., in Palo Alto, after being observed driving erratically. He was taken to the Schuylkill Medical Center South, Pottsville, for a blood test. Troopers said the DUI charge will be filed.
