Tamaqua Elementary School Kindergarten student Morgan Nelson has her fingerprints taken by Tamaqua Police Corporal Dwayne Hacker as part of the KidPrint program, in which students are fingerprinted, with the prints kept on file in order to provide identification if the children would ever be missing. The Tamaqua Rotary Club sponsors the program and helps defray the costs. KidPrint was also employed at West Penn and Rush Elementary Schools and at St.Jerome Regional School, Tamaqua.
