Basile's Restaurantexpands in Hometown

Skilled Amish carpenters associated with S & L Construction, Jersey Shore, erect trusses atop what will be the 1,000-square-foot Chalet Room of Basile's Italian Restaurant, Route 309, Hometown. With the expansion, the popular eatery, which opened seven months ago, will increase its seating capacity from 76 to 146. The restaurant is owned by Vito and Paula Basile of Lansford, who hope to have the Chalet Room up and running by Christmas.
