Woman facing DUI count in Schuylkill
A female driver is facing a charge of driving under the influence (DUI) following an incident about 6:20 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 21.
State police at Frackville said Michele Tersa Theobold, 43, of Morea, was stopped along SR1008 (Morea Road), at Roosevelt Drive in the village of New Boston, Mahanoy Township, for a traffic violation. Troopers said she showed signs of intoxication and failed field sobriety tests. She was then transported to the Schuylkill Medical Center South, Pottsville, for a blood test.
The DUI charge is pending the test results, troopers said.
