Twin daughters were born on Sept. 30, 2009 at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Cedar Crest, to Rose and Rudy Petschauer of Nesquehoning.
Maisie Sabina Petschauer was born at 7:15 a.m. She weighed 6 pounds, 2 ounces and measured 19 inches.
Esme Claire Petschauer was born at 7:42 a.m. and weighed 5 pounds, 11 ounces and measured 19.5 inches.
They were welcomed home by three siblings: Beatrice, 8; Albin, 3; and Quentin, 1.
Maternal grandparents are Paul and Catherine Chapello of Chicago, Ill. Paternal grandparents are Albin and Agnes Petschauer of Vancouver, B.C. Canada.
