Monroe crash

State police at Lehighton reported investigating a one vehicle crash that occurred about 11:05 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 27, along Kunkletown Road in Ross Township, Monroe County.

Troopers said Heather N. Cefarello, 18, of Saylorsburg, was driving a 1998 Toyota Corrola westbound when she lost control on the wet roadway. Cefarello attempted to regain control by counter-steering but was unsuccessful, troopers said. The car went onto the north berm and struck several mailboxes, then flipped onto its roof. The vehicle came to rest facing in a southeastern direction.

Cefarello and passenger, Brittney Gruver, 18, also of Saylorsburg, were not injured. Troopers cited Cefarello for driving a vehicle at a (un) safe speed.
