October 30, 1982 Scott Lutz carries 20 times for 131 yards and a pair of touchdowns to lead Pleasant Valley to a 25-0 victory over Northwestern. The win is the first-ever for head coach Mike Falcone. Lutz, who also intercepts a pass on defense, opens the scoring with a five-yard TD run and later hits paydirt from eight yards out. The Bears, who force five turnovers in the contest, also score on Rob Anthony's 10-yard pass to Frank Schaffer and on a two-yard run by Kevin Bell.
