Tamaqua Barron

A Tamaqua man faces charges stemming from a July 20 incident after officers received lab results conducted on a metal pipe.

Scott Lee Barron, 40, of 307 Race St., Tamaqua, was taken into custody on July 20 after he was found trespassing in a residence at 300 Orwigsburg St., Tamaqua. Barron had previously been evicted from the home. A records check indicated several active warrants were out for Barron's arrest.

Officers searched Barron and found a metal pipe with residue. The pipe was sent to the lab, where it tested positive for cocaine.

Barron will be cited for possession of drug paraphernalia.
