October 31, 1942 Lansford rallies from a halftime deficit to gain a 25-13 victory over Tamaqua. Joe Petko scores two touchdowns, including the go-ahead one on an 11-yard run that completes an 84-yard drive. Petko's other tally comes on a 74-yard gallop. The winners, coached by Ken Millen, also receive TDs from Bernie Sniscak (65-yard run) and from Alex Ferretti (one-yard plunge). Both Blue Raider scores come on runs by Dick Jones.
