Two cited for DUI in Rush Township

Rush Township police arrested two individuals for driving under the influence (DUI) offenses on Saturday.

Tracy Hunsinger, 40, of Kelayres, was cited following a 6:19 p.m. incident on SR54. Hunsinger was transported to the Schuylkill County Medical Center South, Pottsville, by ambulance due to her highly intoxicated condition.

At 11:30 p.m. officers stopped Jonathan McCoy, 47, of Tamaqua, along Taggertsville Road. McCoy is facing charges of DUI of a controlled substance, possession of a small amount of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and traffic offenses.
