Tamaqua cleaners take to the streets

Tamaqua's South Ward Neighborhood Committee and Beautification Association sponsored a litter clean up campaign this past Saturday. Taking to the streets in the South Ward were three generations of the Dominic Valentine family. Louise Howells, her son Dominic and his wife, Kelly, have participated in every clean up session the SWNC has held, teaching the younger generation the value of community service. The Tamaqua Beautification Association concentrated its efforts on the downtown area.
