Bonomos grapple at Tamaqua Elementary

Ricky and Rocky Bonomo, former national collegiate wrestling stars at Bloomsburg University, appeared at an assembly for Tamaqua Area School District elementary students, held Friday, Sept. 25 at Tamaqua Elementary School. The Bonomos put on an entertaining demonstration of their wrestling skills and spoke about the sport to the students, some of whom got the chance to wrestle and "pin" the Bonomos on stage, as did teacher Tim Murphy and assistant principal James J. Fasnacht, himself a former wrestling standout at Pine Grove High School and the University of Pittsburgh.
