Nesquehoning man dies in Lehigh crash
A Nesquehoning man died in a one-vehicle crash early Sunday morning, according to state police at Bethlehem.
Killed in the crash was William Barron, 21, of 120 Stock St. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The crash occurred about 2:40 a.m. as Barron's car slid off a ramp to Route 22 and landed in a ditch.
Troopers said Barron was westbound at the time and attempting to turn north onto MacArthur Road in Whitehall Township when the car landed in the ditch.
Four other Panther Valley area residents were passengers in the vehicle. The extent of their injuries and further details of the accident were not made available.
Barron was the son of William and Carol (Kusko) Barron, with whom he resided.
No further details on the accident were available.
