Amanda Breiner and Dylan Peters
The engagement of Amanda Breiner, Tamaqua, to Dylan Peters, Slatington, has been announced by their parents.
The bride-to-be is the daughter of Perry and Louann Breiner, Tamaqua. She is a 2004 graduate of Tamaqua Area High School, and a 2008 graduate of Kutztown University, where she earned a bachelor's degree in elementary education and special education.
She is a life skills teacher at Panther Valley High School. She is also a tumbling instructor for Dance With Kim, a coach for TOPSoccer Program for the Parkland Area Soccer Club; and an assistant coach with the Tamaqua Area Youth Soccer Program.
The prospective bridegroom is the son of Mike and Monica Peters, Slatington. He is a 2004 graduate of Northern Lehigh High School and a 2008 graduate of Kutztown University, where he earned a bachelor's degree in elementary education, specializing in mathematics with a minor in psychology.
He is a fifth-grade teacher in the Northern Lehigh School District, and is also a musician, performing at local venues.
A wedding is set for July 3, 2010 at Penn's Peak.
