Charged with hit and run accident

Rush Township police report that Chelse McQuaide, 19, Weatherly, is facing charges after striking a vehicle on Ben Titus Road and leaving the scene on March 31.

McQuaide was traveling east when she passed a vehicle operated by Joshua Grim striking it as she did. McQuaide was eventually stopped by Weatherly police.

Robin Readinger, 30, of West Hazleton, is facing retail theft charges after stealing $8 worth of merchandise from Walmart in Hometown on March 28 at 7:20 p.m.
