On this date

A Lansford couple has received word that their son is missing in action in Southeast Asia. Mr. and Mrs. Anthony Giannangeli of West Patterson Street were infomerd that their son, Lt. Col. Anthony Giannangeli, had been shot down by hostile fire. The Lt. Col. is the wife of the former Mary Lou Grieff of Nesquehoning. They live in Colorado and have six children. The soldier is a radar operator with 18 years of service in the U.S. Air Force. He is a graduate of Colorado University.
