April 2, 1976 Marian's Ann Marie Kosciolek scores a game-high 17 points to lead the Bows to a 41-36 victory over the Belles in the Greater Hazleton Basketball Classic girls all-star game. Kosciolek nets seven of her points in the fourth quarter to help her team rally from a deficit. Tamaqua's Mary Shellhamer aids the win by scoring six points. Other area players on the Bows include Panther Valley's Mary Bonner, Tamaqua's Lori Yanoshak and Marian's Janice Petrole. For the Belles, Jim Thorpe's Bernice Bott hits for a team-high 14 points.
