Gun taken in Monroe break-in
A gun was reported taken in a Monroe County break-in.
State police at Fern Ridge said the residence of Kathie Mae Knibbs, 56, of Lakeside Drive, Effort, Chestnuthill Township, was entered when criminals broke a pad lock on the front door. Taken from the home was a Taurus PT40 model 40-caliber handgun. The gun has serial number SVB52241. The incident occurred sometime between March 31 and April 1.
