Traffic stop leads to drug charges

A traffic stop in Carbon County has led to drug charges pending against two persons.

State police at Lehighton said the stop was made about 10:17 p.m. on Saturday, April 3, along SR248 in the area of the Palmerton exit in Palmerton. At the stop the two persons in the vehicle, Craig H. Smith, 26, of Orefield, and Natasha M. Wrigley, 28, of Slatington, were found to have in their possession controlled substances and drug paraphernalia. Drug charges will be filed, troopers said.
