Named to dean's list

Jennifer N. Miller of Andreas has been named to the dean's list for the third time at Kutztown University. She is a full-time student, majoring in elementary education and maintaining a 3.9 GPA.

She is currently a junior at Kutztown and will graduate in May 2011.

Miller graduated from Tamaqua Area High School in 2007. She attended Delaware Valley College her freshman year, then transferred to Kutztown University to follow her dream of becoming an elementary school teacher.

Besides a full course load, Miller also holds two part-time jobs. She is a kindergarten teacher at the Northwest Children's Learning Centre in New Tripoli and is also employed by the Lehighton School district as an assistant cheerleading coach.

In the summer, she works on her family's farm and produce stand; and takes summer classes at Lehigh Carbon Community College.

Miller is the daughter of Douglas and Jeannine Miller of Andreas and the fiance of Steven Balliet of Palmerton.
