Salem St. Paul's Lutheran Church

Help homeless families by participating in Family Promise Week (April 18-25) at Salem-St. Paul.

Zion United Lutheran Church in Brodheadsville usually hosts Family Promise homeless families every 13 weeks (along with 12 other churches in Monroe County, but their church is being renovated. The church council has voted for Salem-St. Paul to host them.

The families get here at 5:30 p.m. and leave at 5:30 a.m. (a little later on weekends). They return to Stroudsburg Wesleyan Church during the days.

They need people to prepare suppers, sleep overnight on air mattresses and supply drinks and snacks. Zion Church and the Growing Place will help, but they need you. There will be a meeting for training new volunteers. Please call the church office if you can help at (610) 681-5191.

On May 2 the Salem-St. Paul Annual Report will be presented to the congregation for review. All committee chairs and group leaders are asked to have their annual report to the church secretary by April 11. This will give her the extra time needed to prepare the report. Your cooperation is appreciated.

Pastor's class for new members will be three Sundays in April, from 9-10 a.m. on April 11, 18 and 25. New members will join on April 25. Please call the office for more information.
