"IMPACT" Dance team and students from Dance with Kim School of Performing Arts in Lehighton were in Atlantic City, N.J. to participate in a unique dance workshop "The Pulse."

"The Pulse" provides an elite celebrity faculty from dance reality TV shows such as "So you Think You Can Dance," "Dancing With the Stars" and "Americas Best Dance Crew" to current stage productions like "Cirque du Soleil," MTV Music Awards, Broadway and countless movies.

The DWK dancers had the chance to learn the faculty's original choreography and had the opportunity to train with these choreographers.

The celebrity staff, who most recently performed in the Michael Jackson Tribute at the American Billboard Awards included: Mia Michaels, Wade Robson, Brian Friedman, Cris Judd, Dave Scott, Laurieann Gibson, Tyce Diorio, Desmond Richardson and Gil Duldulao.

The dancers enjoyed energy packed hip-hop choreography, jazz classes and modern dance.

Participating in the sold-out weekend event were Brittni Smith, Riley Zimmerman, Kelsey Andrews, Kaitlyn Smith, Tiffany Erney, Elizabeth Beck, Brittany Semmel, Alyssa Smith, Jordan Lorah, Christi Beddiges and Emily Snyder. During the two-day event, $30,000 in scholarships were awarded to participating students.

DWK dancer Brittany Semmel earned a scholarship selected by the faculty to attend a future Pulse event.
