Rear-end type crash in Schuylkill

A two-car crashed occured Friday evening, April 9, in Schuylkill County.

The collision occurred at around 6:11 p.m. along SR61 and Built Well Road in North Manheim Township when a 2005 Ford Escape, operated by Steven A. Brobst, 54, of Weston, was stopped in the left lane for traffic that was slowing and/or stopping.

It was at that point when a 2009 Hyundai Accent, operated by Christine Cook, 43, of Pottsville, struck the rear of Brobst's vehicle with its front bumper.

Neither Brobst nor Cook were injured. Both were wearing their seatbelts.
