Rush Police report drug, theft arrests

The Rush Township police reported the following arrests.

Miles Sterling, 20, Daniel Endick, 18 and two 17 year-old juvenile males, all from Mahanoy City, are all facing drug charges after being found with marijuana on April 2 at 7 p.m. One of the 17 year-olds had a very large bag of marijuana while the others had small amounts. They were trespassing on the high bridge in Hometown, which is private property as well as railroad property.

Michael P Kryworuka, 34, Barnesville, is facing felony retail theft charges after stealing $16.29 worth of meat from the Walmart store on April 3 at 9:25. Kryworuka left the store and was found near his residence in Barnesville an hour later after police reviewed the video surveillance.

Charges were filed on April 8 after an investigation from March 26 at Walmart. Steven Berger, 21, and Rexvalore Ellison, 31, both of Tamaqua, are facing numerous charges of retail theft, criminal conspiracy, and receiving stolen property after the duo stole several hundred dollars worth of electronic items.
