2 businesses cited for false alarms
State police at Fern Ridge have cited two Monroe County businesses for false alarms.
Troopers said Pocono Auto Mart, in Brodheadsville, and the First National Bank of Palmerton branch office in Gilbert, were cited. Troopers said both businesses caused or permitted four or more false alarm activations during a consecutive 12-month period.
In the auto mart case the alarms occurred during the period of July 2009 through April, and in the bank case during the period of October 2009 through April.
