Info sought on ATV seized in Tamaqua

Tamaqua Police are seeking information on a yellow Honda all terrain vehicle (ATV) that was confiscated on Friday.

Officers were on patrol at 1:40 p.m. in the area of East Spruce Street when they observed the ATV, with two riders, traveling west. The vehicle was stopped in the area of Spruce and Railroad streets., and the driver identified as Cordero S. LaBella. A records search turned up an active, outstanding warrant on LaBell, issued by Lehigh County authorities.

Cordero did not have any registration for the ATV. He was taken into custody and turned over to the Lehigh County Sheriff at 5:20 p.m.

Traffic citations are pending. Anyone with information on the ATV is asked to call police at (570) 668-5000.
