Robbery at Kidder inn is reported

Kidder Township police are investigating an armed robbery at a township inn.

Police said a man entered the Comfort Inn, located along SR940, about 11:40 p.m. on Monday, April 12, and jumped over the front desk counter while brandishing a knife and demanding money. The suspect then fled in an unknown direction with an undetermined amount of crash.

The suspect was described as being a black male, about six-feet tall, wearing black pants, a black "doo" rag, and a black shirt that was pulled up over the bottom portion of his face.
