Carbon man victim of incident on I80

A Carbon County man was the victim of an incident along Interstate 80 at the SR940 overpass in Kidder Township.

State police at Fern Ridge said John Latniak, 46, of Weatherly, was driving westbound when he went under the overpass an item was thrown or dropped from the area causing damage to the windshield of the vehicle. The incident occurred about 9:15 a.m. on Thursday, April 15, troopers said.
