Monroe woman cited for drinking
A Monroe County woman was cited for public drunkenness recently.
Pocono Mountain Regional police said on Sunday, April 11, about 8:33 p.m. officers responded to a complaint of a female pedestrian soliciting rides along SR196 near Evergreen, in Tobyhanna. On scene officers found Melinda Campisi, 50, of Tobyhanna. She was found to be highly intoxicated and her speech was slurred and her balance unsteady.
She was cited and then released to the custody of a friend.
