Palmerton hires winter coaches

Palmerton Area School Board on Tuesday approved the following coaching positions for the 2010-11 school year.

David Lavin, wrestling head coach, $5,785

Donald Delich, girl's basketball head coach, $5,785

Michael Snyder, boy's basketball head coach, $5,785. Snyder was appointed on a 6-1 vote with one abstention. Director Michael Ballard voted against Snyder's appointment. Director Tina Snyder abstained because she is the wife of Snyder.
