Driver in Franklin Twp. cited for DUI

Curtis B. Massi of Kunkletown is facing a charge of driving under the influence of alcohol after he was stopped at 2:10 a.m. Wednesday on Route 209 in the area of Hemlock Street in Franklin Township.

State police at the Lehighton barracks said he was operating a vehicle northbound on Rt. 209. Police said the vehicle was observed weaving and crossing the double yellow lines and fog line.

After a traffic stop, it was determined through a BAC test that the man's blood-alcohol level was .138 percent, in excess of the legal limit of .08 percent.
