Man jailed for violating order
A Schuylkill County man was jailed recently for violating a protection from abuse (PFA) order issued in Carbon County.
Nesquehoning police reported on April 8 Christine Marsh, 64 W. Garibaldi Ave., told Chief Sean Smith that her husband, William Marsh, of 109 W. Blaine St., McAdoo, had been calling her on her cellular phone and leaving messages which is a violation of the order.
Smith secured a warrant for Marsh's arrest which was served on him at his residence by Officers Timothy Wuttke and Ronald Peck, on April 14.
Marsh was arraigned before District Judge Casimir T. Kosciolek, of Lansford, and committed to the county prison when he failed to post $1,000 cash bail.
