Get kids into sports

Dear Editor:

What's going on with kids and parents in Summit Hill, Lansford and Nesquehoning? How come these towns can only get one or two teams in Little League?

Kids are all out on the streets. Hanging out, some, (not all) getting into trouble.

They should be in sports. Learning how to get along and sportsmanship never hurt anyone.

Tamaqua can get up to seven to nine teams. Do the parents there think more about keeping their kids out of trouble and teaching them sportsmanship?

It also helps kids with their weight problem. Come on parents.

Get your kids in shape, physically and mentally, (it's good for them) and you will be happier too!
