Published April 27. 2010 05:00PM

No one was injured in a one-vehicle crash Thursday at 2:10 p.m. on the Taylorsville Road in Eldred Township, Schuylkill Haven, according to state police at the Schuylkill Haven barracks.

Police said Malorie S. Castor, 24, of Hegins, was driving a 2007 Compass westbound when she failed to negotiate a curve and the vehicle slid on the gravel on the westbound shoulder, striking a tree. The car continued west, hitting a ditch and causing the vehicle to spin clockwise 90 degrees, slamming into an embankment.

Police said the driver, her seven-month-old daughter and another passenger, 100-year-old Alayna S. Hensel of Minersville, were unhurt.
