Slatington Public Library
In recognition of National Library Week, the month of April will be a month of amnesty for all patrons with overdue books from the Slatington Public Library. No overdue fees will be charged.
If you have a library book that is overdue, please return it, no questions asked. The book drop is always open.
The last Wonderful World of Wildlife for the school year will be held Saturday, May 15, at 10 a.m. for ages 4 to Grade 5. The summer program will begin on Wednesday, June 30 at 10 a.m.
The preschool reading program is held on Tuesdays at 11 a.m. It will be held May 4, 11, and 18. There will be no preschool program for the summer. Watch for the starting date in the fall.
The library accepts book donations with the exception of encyclopedias, textbooks, and Reader's Digest. There is always a used book sale.
Library hours are Monday and Wednesday, 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.; Tuesday, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.; Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Saturday, 8 a.m. to 2 p.m., closed Thursday and Sunday.
