Joseph S.Terry, 151 Third Street, Coaldale, started a divorce action against Barbara Bankes, 66 Bowe Street, Tamaqua. They were married Jan. 24, 2009.
Granted divorce
Willliam H. Hollenbech, Shenandoah, was granted a divorce from Carol A. Hollenbach, Frackville. They were married April 26, 2010.
Credit card suit
Asset Acceptance, LLC, of Warren, Mich., filed suit against Suzanne M. Burns, 40 E. Ridge St., Coaldale, alleging she had defaulted on credit card payments and are seeking a judgement in amount of $840.69 plus costs.
Removed from ARD
Judge D. Michael Stine revoked several persons from the Accelerated Rehabilitation Dispositon (ARD) probation program for first time offenders because they violated the conditions imposed. They were:
Lee Joseph Dunleavy, 28, Germanville Road, Ashland, was faces charges brought by Patrolman Eugene M. Yourey, Pottsville police, of possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia.
Isaac James Price, 26, Pottsville, who was charged by Trooper Scott Grochowski with driving under the influence (DUI) of alcohol when stopped on Moss Glenn Road in Brockton and possession of drug paraphernalia and driving under combined influence of alcohol and drugs.
Blaine Joseph Blampied, 20, Pine Grove, was charged by Cpl. Jeffrey Futchko, Pine Grove police, with DUI.
Revoke probation
Suzanne E. Reber, 24, Pottsville, after a hearing had her probation revoked by Judge Stine for violating conditions under the parole supervision. She failed to report a new arrest to her probation officer and failed to stay away from possession of drugs. Reber was re-sentenced to serve 90 days to 12 months in the county prison and received credit for serving 81 days. Reber pleaded guilty to striking a parked car and failing to stop last August and was placed on probation.
Revoke parole
The parole of Harry Wheary III, 21, Shamokin, was revoked by Judge John E. Domalakes for violating conditions and his 200 days of liberty were added to his maximum sentence date which was extended to June 4, 2011. However, he was granted immediate parole and was admitted to the Drug Court Program in Northumberland County. Wheary was previously sentenced on the Hometown Farmers Market robbery which took place in February 2008.
