Theft of TV probed by Tamaqua police

Tamaqua police are investigating the reported theft of a televison set.

Benjamin Ruffing, 210 Washington St., contacted officers Monday morning after returning home and discovering his television was missing. The theft occurred sometime between Friday evening and Monday morning. The televison is an Emerson brand flat screen valued at $300.
