Three injured in crash early today
Three persons were injured, two seriously, in a one-vehicle crash that occurred about 4:10 a.m. today along Interstate 81 in Butler Township, Schuylkill County.
State police at Frackville said a vehicle was southbound when the driver lost control. The vehicle went onto the median where the passenger side made impact with a tree and then rolled over and came to rest on its roof facing east.
Troopers said three persons were injured but it has not been determined who was the driver. Seriously injured and flown to Geisinger Medical Center, Danville, by Lifeflight helicopter were Warren Frey, 20, and Anita George, 18, both of Shenandoah. Taken to St. Catherine Medical Center, Ashland, was Samantha Price, 19, also of Shenandoah.
