Driver cited after Schuylkill crash

The driver involved in a one-vehicle crash about 12:10 p.m. on Wednesday, April 28, along SR61 in Blythe Township, Schuylkill County, has been cited.

State police at Frackville said Jennifer Halye, 32, of Minersville, was driving a 2003 Dodge Durango SLT southbound, a mile south of the Schuylkill Mall and through a PennDOT work zone, when the vehicle left the road and struck an embankment. The vehicle came to rest in the right lane.

Halye was not injured but her vehicle had to be towed from the scene. She was cited for driving on roadways laned for traffic, troopers said.
