Mortgageforeclosures

The following actions were filed as mortgage foreclosures for alleged defaults on loans.

JP Morgan Bank, 7255 Baymeadows Way, Jacksonville, Fla., filed against Joseph D. Lutz, 4 Patricia Drive, Apt. 32, Gilbertsville, over property at 512 Old Stage Rd., Towamensing Trails, Penn Forest Township. Sought is $99,600.89 and continuing interest.

Deutsche Bank National Trust Co., 12650 Ingenuity Drive, Orlando, Fla., filed against Saundra L. and Kevin E. Woods, 2359 Arapahoe Rd., Albrightsville, over property at that address. Sought is $34,274.35 and continuing interest.

Deutsche Bank filed against Lisa and Richard Bauder, 42 W. Patterson St., Lansford, over property at that address. Sought is $120,873.84 and continuing interest.

Texas Capital One Bank, 2000 McKinney Ave., Dallas, Tex., filed against Wanda Nazario, aka, Wanda Ufret and Zoraid A. Ufret, 174 Buckhill Rd., Albrightsville, over property at that address. Sought is $131,558.84 and continuing interest.

Wells Fargo Bank, 3476 Stateview Blvd., Fort Mill, S.C., filed against Michael E. and Kristy K. Blichar, 176 Avenue A, Palmerton, over property at that address. Sought is $88,788.64 and continuing interest.

Wells Fargo Bank filed against Linda J. Roschbach, 24 Hunter Lane, Albrightsville, over property at that address. Sought is $131,433.96 and continuing interest.

Citimortgage Inc., 5280 Corporate Drive, Frederick, Md., filed against Henry K. Lui, 138 Old Stage Rd., kak, 1555 Mt. Pocahontas, Albrightsville, over property at that address. Sought is $197,269.94 and continuing interest.

Credit defaults

The following actions were filed by credit card companies, or their collection agencies, for alleged defaults on credit card/loan accounts.

LVNV Funding, c/o 1729 Pittston Ave., Scranton, filed three actions as follows: John J. Rodriguez, 1429 Mountain Rd., Albrightsville, seeking $5,506.92; Jonathan Lopresti, c/o Carbon County Prison, Nesquehoning, seeking $4,816.86; and Betty L. Zuber, 1115 Fireline Rd., Palmerton, seeking $5,152.51.

Arrow Financial Services, 6108 W. Touchy Ave., Niles, Ill., filed three actions as follows: Brian Tobin, 18 N. Lehigh Gorge Drive, Weatherly, seeking $4,189.95; Jenny Harris, 3601 State St., White Haven, seeking $3,253.85; and Donna Gerhard, 1036 N. Lehigh Gorge Drive, Weatherly, seeking $3,965.89.

Chase Bank USA, 3700 Wiseman Blvd., San Antonio, Tex., filed two actions as follows: Dean S. Faust, 1670 Germans Rd., Lehighton, seeking $8,839.97; and Joan L. Armbruster, 90 Beaver St., Lehighton, seeking $7,457.

HSBC Bank Nevada, 1111 N. Town Center Drive, Las Vegas, Nev., filed two actions as follows: Annemarie Oswald, 368 W. Abbott St., Lansford, seeking $8,443.64; and Jennifer L. Vandermeer, 455 N. Fourth St., Lehighton, seeking $1,647.29.

Divorce actions

Bertram Berk, 1593 SR534, Albrightsville, filed against Mary E. Berk, 416 N. Keim St., New Ringgold. They were married Oct, 19, 2002.

Sharon L. Isabella, 105 Unionville Rd., Jim Thorpe, filed against Vincent J. Isabella, 234 Girard Ave, Horsham. They were married Oct. 18, 1997.

Melissa S. Cooke, 210 Coal St., Nesquehoning, filed against William C. Cooke, 4131 Broadway, Allentown. They were married Nov. 19, 2005.

Linda L. Nuccio, 357 Bridge St., Lehighton, filed against Phillip J. Nuccio, 307 Jefferson St., Lehighton. They were married July 4, 1996.

Doctor sued

Andrew J. Snyder, as administrator Pendente Lite, of the estate of Dianne R. Flynn, 400 Lehigh Ave., 2nd floor, Palmerton, filed suit against Dr. James W. Kramer, and the Carbon Surgical Associates, 281 N. 12th St., Lehighton. Snyder identified as the son of the late Dianne R. Flynn.

The suit states on April 10, 2009, Dr. Kramer operated by Mrs. Flynn for a ventral hernia at the Gnaden Huetten Memorial Hospital, Lehighton. During the operation the suit claims Dr. Kramer committed a surgical error that resulted in the eventual death of Mrs. Flynn later in same day at St. Luke's Hospital, Fountain Hill, where she was flown by helicopter from Gnaden Huetten.

Negligence for the death of Mrs. Flynn is alleged against the defendants and sought are damages in excess of $50,000 on each of three counts.

Insurance suit

Shelly and Michael Gornick, 170 Hemlock Trail, Lehighton, filed a civil complaint against Allstate Insurance Co., 2775 Sanders Rd., Northbrook, Ill.

The suit states on Dec. 6, 2008, Shelly Gornick was driving along Schantz Rd., in Upper Macungie Township, Lehigh County, when a oncoming vehicle had its high beams causing her to loose control of her vehicle on a icy patch. The vehicle left the road and crashed. The suit states Shelly Gornick sustained serious injuries in the crash, which are detailed in the suit.

The couple filed a claim with its insurance carrier, the defendant, under the Uninsured Motorists benefits section of their policy but it was denied by Allstate. The plaintiffs seek damages in excess of $50,000.

Fatal crash suit

Renee Louverture, individually, and as administratrix of the estate of Pierre Louverture, 3504 Emerald Blvd., Long Pond, filed a civil action against the Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission, Box 67676, Harrisburg.

The suit states on March 13, 2009, about 8:50 a.m. Pierre Louverture, then 39, was traveling northbound on the northeast extension of the turnpike in Franklin Township, when a loose piece of concrete dislodged from the road, became airborne and traveled through the driver's side windshield striking Louverture. Louverture suffered injuries to the upper body, face and head. As a result of those injuries, the suit alleges, Louverture died. The concrete piece measured 12 1/2 inches in length, five-inches thick, eight inches in height and weighed 28 pounds, the suit states.

Negligence is alleged against the defendant and sought are damages in excess of $50,000 on each of two counts.
