Vacation Bible School
St. Matthew's UCC is holding Vacation Bible School this week starting at 9 a.m. Bring your kids from ages 4-12 for fun, games, crafts, music and Bible stories told in an exciting jungle theme.
Sunday School picnic
The 121st Annual St. Matthew's UCC's Sunday School Kunkletown Picnic will be held on Saturday, Aug. 14. All entertainment and activities are free. Olde Friends will perform from 3-6 p.m. Children's games begin at 4 p.m. followed by a Kiddie Cake Walk, fishing pond and a frog jumping contest. (Bring your own frog.)
For all you bakers, bring your best apple, fruit or other kind of pie and see if you can win the Best Pie Contest. Registration is at 5 p.m. and the pies will be judged at 6 p.m.
An old fashioned cake walk will begin at 6:30 p.m.
