Monroe break-in

State police at Lehighton are investigating a burglary at a Monroe County residence. Troopers also reported on theft and mischief incident.

The break-in occurred at the home of Marvin Branch, 41, of 206 Lake Rd., in Saylorsburg, Hamilton Township. Two large flat screen televisions were removed from the home sometime between July 26 and Saturday, July 31.

Troopers are investigating a theft of a vehicle incident. Unknown criminals removed a 2002 Yamaha TTR250 from the front yard area of the residence of Robert Anthony Heller, who resides along Silfies Rd., in Kunkletwon R.2, Monroe County. The theft occurred overnight of Thursday, July 29, and Friday.

Lois Margaret Kreiser, 63, of 3499A Chestnut Drive, Brodheadsville, Chestnuthill Township, Monroe County, reported someone smashed the front storm door window on her home. The incident occurred overnight of Thursday into Friday.
