Traffic stop leads to drug arrest

A traffic stop led to the arrest of the teen driver on drug charges.

State police at Lehighton said the stop was made along Mill Pond Rd. at SR209, in Polk Township, Monroe County, about 7:33 p.m. on Thursday, July 29. At the stop the 16-year-old male from Saylorsburg was found to have drug paraphernalia in his possession. The charge will be filed with the Monroe County Juvenile Probation Office, troopers said.
