Fran Craigie, manager of the Panther Valley Senior Center in Nesquehoning has announced the list of activities for August

Beginning Aug. 2 there will be pay bingo at 11 a.m. Aug. 3 is line dancing in the morning and a Sunshine meeting later. Aug. 4 will be game of Pictionary at 11 a.m. Aug. 5 is penny game at 11 a.m. and off to Heisler's after lunch. Wii games will be played on Aug. 6

On Aug. 9 horse racing will begin at 11 a.m. Aug. 10 is line dancing. Aug. 11 is the celebration of birthdays and bingo at 11 a.m. Aug. 12 blood pressures will be read from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. Aug. 13 is Deal or No Deal at 11 a.m.

Aug. 16 the center will be closed due to visiting the Sands Casino leaving CVS at 10 a.m. Aug. 17 line dancing. Aug. 18 bean bags, cards, and darts. Aug. 19 Janene Holter will speak to the group on Senior Crime Prevention at 11 a.m. Aug. 20 candy bingo at 11 a.m.

Aug. 23 will be an ice cream social after lunch. Aug. 24 is line dancing. Aug. 25 the center will be closed due to a trip to Mauch Chunk Lake for a picnic at 10 a.m. Aug. 26 there will be pay bingo at 11 a.m. Aug. 27 shopping on the CCCT at 9:30 a.m.

Aug. 30 there will be shuffleboard and pool. Aug. 31 is line dancing.
