Cited for dispute with his father
A Tamaqua man has been cited following a dispute with his father on Sunday.
Tamaqua police were dispatched to 218 Washington St. at 11:05 p.m. and spoke with Jerry Feathers Sr., who reported that his son, Jerry Jr., came into the house, then punched the refrigerator, breaking it. An argument ensued with the younger man allegedly throwing his father to the floor resulting in a cut above the older man's left eye.
The senior Feathers refused medical treatment. While officers were on scene, the younger Feathers stood outside the residence yelling.
Officers cited the younger man with disorderly conduct.
