Palmerton police report
Criminal charges have been filed against Joshua Barlip, 18, of 450 Lafayette Avenue, Palmerton, for three counts of rape, three counts of sexual assault, six counts of aggravated indecent assault, six counts of indecent assault, and three counts of incest. The incident occurred between July 3 and July 30 of 2009 at the above address.
Speeding
Cheryl Schaeffer, 34, of 1231 Main Road, Lehighton, was cited for speeding and expired inspection. The violations occurred on Aug. 8 at 10:37 a.m. on SR248 east.
A citation was issued to Tyler Billings, 18, of 1465 Stagecoach Road West, Palmerton, for speeding. The violation occurred on Aug. 8 at 7:27 p.m. in the 200 block of Delaware Avenue.
Christopher Henne, 38, of 90 Nashua Street, Walnutport, was cited for speeding and expired registration. The violations occurred on Aug. 1 at 6:54 p.m. on SR248 east.
A citation was issued to Spencer Geratschek, 19, of 346 Delaware Avenue, Palmerton, for speeding. The violation occurred on July 30 at 11:10 p.m. on SR248 east.
Samie Wenner, 30, of 3604 Belfry Road, Northampton, was cited for speeding. The violation occurred on Aug. 4 at 9:47 p.m. on SR248 east.
A citation was issued to James Gordon, 40, of 1390 Long Run Road, Friedensburg, for speeding. The violation occurred on July 30 at 11:10 p.m. on SR248 east.
Kristina Fritzinger, 26, of 5138 Second Street, Whitehall, for speeding. The violation occurred on Aug. 1 at 9:43 p.m. in the 100 block of Delaware Avenue.
DUI
Criminal charges were filed against Scott Johansen, 49, of P.O. Box 58, Palmerton, for DUI and driving on roadways laned for traffic. The incident occurred on July 17 at 11:17 p.m. in the 600 block of Delaware Avenue. Johansen was also cited for disorderly conduct. The violation occurred on Aug. 4 at 4:38 p.m. in the 200 block of Franklin Avenue.
Traffic violation
Kevin Koons, 51, of 308 White Street, Bowmanstown, was cited for obedience to traffic control devices. The violation occurred on Aug. 6 at 6:46 a.m. at Mauch Chunk Road and Franklin Avenue.
A citation was issued to a 17-year-old Palmerton male for obedience to traffic control devices. The violation occurred on Aug. 6 at 9 p.m. at Mauch Chunk Road and Franklin Avenue.
