Equipment stolen from buses parked at Pleasant Valley lot

State police at the Fern Ridge barracks are investigating an incident whereby someone stole $9,000 worth of equipment from school buses in Monroe County.

The victim is the First Student Bus Company.

Police said the incident happened between Aug. 5 and 11 at the parking lot located on the Pleasant Valley High Schol campus in Brodheadsville, Chestnuthill Township.

The theft occurred when someone removed six catalytic converters from six of the company's school buses that were parked in the lot.
